The organisers behind the VR Awards announce international not for profit, The Academy of International Extended Reality (AIXR)

Expanding beyond virtual reality and the VR Awards, AIXR is to provide support to the entire XR industry.

AIXR, The Academy of International Extended Reality, is a dedicated not for profit that exists to support individuals and companies of all sizes as the International Trade Body for immersive technology industries. Through AIXR’s insights initiative, which includes articles, case studies, podcasts, and events for its members, AIXR will proactively support, inspire and enable innovators and bring together all members of the immersive industries.

The creative team behind AIXR have been heavily involved with supporting the VR community with the VR Awards, which is now in its third year. AIXR is the natural progression of the team’s efforts to see the immersive tech industry continue to grow.
