AIXR and the 7th International VR Awards are proud to announce its return to Immersive Tech Week at de Doelen in Rotterdam, the vibrant city in the Netherlands, for its 7th edition. The ceremony will feature a high-quality programme much like its predecessors but with even more surprises in store for the night. Along with new category iterations and discounted submission fees for those entering the AIXR Social Impact award, a recognition of the positive impact virtual reality can have on society. The VR Awards are also opening the category of VR Content Creator of the Year for submissions, content creators from this year can enter for free.

Once again the Academy of International Extended Reality will be hosting an in-person ceremony at de Doelen this November for another unforgettable evening of celebrating VR excellence. Nominees for this award are passionate and creative community leaders who consistently deliver captivating and thought-provoking content.
