The 7th International VR Awards Returns to Rotterdam in November.

AIXR and the 7th International VR Awards are proud to announce its return to Immersive Tech Week at de Doelen in Rotterdam, the vibrant city in the Netherlands, for its 7th edition. The ceremony will feature a high-quality programme much like its predecessors but with even more surprises in store for the night. Along with new category iterations and discounted submission fees for those entering the AIXR Social Impact award, a recognition of the positive impact virtual reality can have on society. The VR Awards are also opening the category of VR Content Creator of the Year for submissions, content creators from this year can enter for free.

The 7th International VR Awards will be held on November 30, 2023 in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Early Bird tickets for the VR Awards now can be purchased online at the official website, and for more information about the event, visit the website or follow VR Awards on social media.

Once again the Academy of International Extended Reality will be hosting an in-person ceremony at de Doelen this November for another unforgettable evening of celebrating VR excellence. Hundreds of attendees, guests, award finalists and press representatives will watch the evening unfold and viewers at home will be able to attend virtually and participate in interactive experiences from home. AIXR are consistently aiming to improve VR standardisation and fair accessibility for all within the VR community and with the 7th edition being the most premium VR Awards ceremony yet, AIXR has improved their categories and criteria to best suit the industry standards of today to further make the awards accessible to companies of all sizes, AIXR have introduced discounted submission rates for those who enter the AIXR Social Impact Award that recognises companies who have utilised VR for social good, or push forward a community cause.

And finally, the VR Awards are proud to announce that they are opening free submissions for the category of VR Content Creator of the Year. This award is an opportunity to recognize individuals who have devoted themselves to pushing the boundaries of VR technology and inspiring those around them. Nominees for this award are passionate and creative community leaders who consistently deliver captivating and thought-provoking content.
