With the announcement of the VR Awards finalists just last month, AIXR has now opened up the categories: VR Game of the Year and VR Social Influencer of the Year to public voting. Meaning public voting for VR Social Influencer of the Year is open from 13th September 6 pm BST to 27th September 6 pm BST and public voting for VR Game of the Year is open from 14th September 6 pm BST to 28th September 6 pm BST, the public will have the opportunity to support their favourite games and Social Influencers by casting their votes on who should win the coveted titles of ‘VR Game of the Year’ and ‘VR Social Influencer of the Year’.
The following finalists for VR Social Influencers of the Year have all been nominated by our judging panel veterans and media partners for their ongoing support, passion and production of high-quality virtual reality content. Winners are to be chosen by a mixture of our expert judging panel and public voting:

- Between Realities (duo of Alex_VR and Skeeva)
- Cas and Chary VR
- Nathie
- Phia
- ThrillSeeker
- Tyriel Wood

Last month AIXR announced that the Fifth International VR Awards will go virtual this November 18th, therefore allowing millions of people the opportunity to join the 5th Anniversary edition from a browser, phone or VR headset. Join the VR Award’s 2021 ceremony to celebrate all things VR excellence, tickets are now available to purchase through the VR Awards website.
Information surrounding the ceremony is being held tightly under wraps but with this year being their fifth-anniversary celebration, AIXR is looking forward to unveiling a unique virtual ceremony that will pay homage to the history and makings of the VR Awards with a few surprises in store that will once more disrupt the landscape of immersive events forever.
