AIXR is proud to announce that nominations for The 7th International VR Awards are now open. The VR community has been invited to participate in the annual celebration of excellence in virtual reality by nominating and submitting their very best VR projects, campaigns, and individuals alike for 2023. The awards ceremony, which is set to take place on November 30, 2023 in Rotterdam, Netherlands at Immersive Tech Week, will be a night to remember and showcase the incredible leaps and bounds in VR development across the globe.
Nominations will be accepted through the International VR Awards website until the deadline of June 19, 2023. Anyone can take part in the nominations, and there are many categories available to ensure that every VR experience is considered for recognition.
With the 7th edition being the most premium VR Awards ceremony yet, AIXR has updated their categories and criteria to accommodate the industry’s current standards and make awards more accessible to all sized companies. AIXR introduced last month, reduced submission rates for the AIXR Social Impact Award, recognizing companies using VR for social good or community causes and has opened free submissions for the VR Content Creator of the Year category, recognizing those who push VR technology boundaries and deliver brilliant content.
There will also be an exclusive opportunity to learn from past winners and judges on how to nominate for the 7th International VR Awards. Our 2023 Nominations Briefing Webinars enable all nominees to gain valuable insights on how to make their nominations stand out. Our first webinar will be held on May 4, 2023, led by the 6th International VR Awards VR Experience of the Year winner: Jason Moore from The MetaMovie with Impact Producer and long-time VR Awards Judge, Michaela Ternasky-Holland.
