XR Now is our online micro-summit that exhibits the exciting work being done by AIXR and our Academy Advisory Groups.
The event will be free and open to both members and non-members.
As well as showcasing the work and insight of our Academy Advisory Groups, XR Now will act as a mixer event.
You will be able to network with leaders in the space and discuss the main issues in XR.
The event will consist of six topic-themed rooms that delegates can drop in and out of at their discretion.
To enable delegates to engage in discussions across several topics the start times for each room are staggered.

19:00 BST – 19:10 BST: Introduction from AIXR
We will kick start our summit with a quick introduction to AIXR and the Wonder platform.
19:10 BST – 19:50 BST: Session 1 – XR Enterprise Advisory Group Talk and Mixer
Join Sam Watts from Make Real for an open conversation on the challenges of launching XR at scale and other enterprise-related issues.
19:10 BST – 19:50 BST: Session 2 – XR Social Impact Advisory Group Talk and Mixer
Join award-winning documentarian and XR consultant Michaela Ternasky-Holland to talk about XR and social impact.
19:30 BST – 20:10 BST: Session 3 – XR Marketing Advisory Group Talk and Mixer
Panos Voulgaris from MAL-VI leads the conversation on measuring success for marketing campaigns in XR and more.
19:50 BST – 20:30 BST: Session 4 – Location-Based XR Roundtable and Mixer
John Lilley from Meet Space VR joins Aaron Pulkka from Amber to discuss the future of XR in out-of-home entertainment. Head on over to the Location-Based XR room to join the conversation.
20:10 BST – 20:50 BST: Session 5 – XR Education and Training Advisory Group Talk and Mixer
Sophie Thompson from Virtual Speech will be opening up the conversation to discuss using VR in education and training.
20:30 BST – 21:10 BST: Session 6 – XR Entertainment Advisory Group Talk and Mixer
Victor Pardinho from Sense of Space will be joining Susana Grilo, independent XR producer and content creator, to discuss entertainment in XR and virtual identity in the metaverse.
19:30 BST – 21:00 BST: AIXR Drop-in room available throughout the 2-hour event
